Vintage circa 1920s-30s French long smock shirt/ night shirt with embroidered braid detail at the collar, cuffs and front placket.
 
Made by Maison Villah, Toulouse.  
No size label.  Please check the measurements. 
 
Long and generously cut- it flares out from the front and back yoke to 30" across, pit to pit.
Fine white cotton with real mother of pearl buttons to fasten at the front placket and sleeves.  There are side slits with little expansion godet gussets.
 
Good order considering the age of it- there are a few small brownish marks (upper front, lower front) and note that there are some scattered small holes- at the upper back, at the lower front- see photos.  Minor marks and minor general wear.
 
Laundered and clean. 
 
Seam to seam across the shoulders at the back is 18"
Sleeves are 22 3/4"  from shoulder seam to cuff
From nape to hem is 46 1/2" 
Across the chest under the arms is 30" -  pit to pit, flat, across the front
widening to around 31" across at hip level
Collar is 16 1/2" when buttoned.
