Antique circa 1920s French work trousers.
Heavily repaired, worn and patched. Areas of original patching and some more recent restorative repairs. Showing decades of hand repair and darning from various points in time to repair and repair again.
 
No size label or maker's label on these. These are smaller all over and slimmer fitting in the legs.

All cotton with multiple patches and areas of heavy darning. Patched on the inside also and the legs look to have been lengthened at some stage. V back with rusted cinch buckle and back belt. Mismatched buttons around the waistband and at the fly- metal, corozo, bone etc.
 
The patches are frayed here and there, rusted hardware, mismatched buttons, small holes and all over heavy wear and distressing. The pocket liners and liners are discoloured and there are some areas in the lining which have been overpatched meaning the lining is a little thick at the fly. Marked here and there with areas of uneven colour.

Measured at 29" at the waist in total UNCINCHED- you can cinch them in a couple of inches with the back belt

19" across at approx hip level (these are men's pants however and will fit women differently)
