Charming vintage French circa 1930s, maybe a bit earlier, corduroy work trousers.
Rustic and characterful French trousers that are well worn in and show visible mending and repair from across the decades- see photos and the notes. Heavily patched and darned with areas of wear all over.
No maker's label inside these. All cotton in heavy corduroy, buttoned fly. No belt loops. V back with buckled cinch back. Side pockets. Mismatched buttons, rusty hook and eye fastening at the waistband.
Faded down, the colour uneven in parts. Surface marks, feint stains. All over wear- at the edges, pocket edges, fly placket. All over repairs from across the decades. The pocket liners are patched and repaired and show wear inside the pocket edges. The legs patched and heavily darned. The seat has a patched area. Worn, patched and marked inside the lining around the waistband. Some small holes. Worn along the top edge of the waistband and at the cinch buckle. The hems show wear.
Laundered.
