Vintage circa 1930s French Pompiers chore jacket.
 
Shorter cyclist style in a rich indigo blue with hirondelle collar.
No size or issue label.
 
A rich indigo cotton-linen type fabric with Pompiers silver tone domed buttons to fasten at the front. Epaulettes and pockets at the front, cross over fastening tab at the waistband.  The collar fastens with a hook and eye. 
 
Its lightly faded here and there but still a nice rich dark colour.  Minor marks, minor general wear. a few small fray nicks, some mismatched buttons at the inner cuffs.

Sleeves are 22 1/2" from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve
Back length is 21"
23" across the chest under the arms, the same across the back, measured flat, side to side, pit to pit
narrowing to around 16 1/2" across at the hem band/ waist when buttoned
