Vintage circa 1950s French work trousers.
 
Made from metis (a linen and cotton blend) with linen patches.

Faded down with some marks and areas of uneven colour.  The centre back seam looks to have been restitched neatly at some stage. Areas of overstitched repair at the pocket edges and upper back. Patching at the front and at the lower legs, a few fray nicks here and there. Some staining on the legs in a few places. See photos.
