Antique early 1900s French black linen maquignon biaude.
Traditionally worn by French cattle and horse dealers.
No sizing on these- they pre-date commercial sizing generally.
Its wide, large and voluminous by design and given the smocky style this fits a wide range of sizes depending of course as to how you want it fit.

Hook and eye neckline, black porcelain buttons at the cuffs front placket. Two top pockets and side slits. Expansion gussets under the arms.
Seam repair just below the side slit, wear at the cuff edges, some small scattered repairs and some small holes here and there. Some areas of uneven colour, a few fade marks.
Seam to seam across the shoulders at the back is 24 1/2"
Sleeves are 22" from shoulder seam to cuff
From nape to hem is 39"
Across the chest under the arms is 34" - pit to pit, flat, across the front (double for the total)
widening out to around 39" across at the hem when fastened (again double for the total)
