Vintage circa 1920s- 30s,  French cotton smock shirt.
 
No size or maker's mark. Embroidered CA at the base of the button placket.
 
Long tail style with stand collar and bib front, expansion gussets and selvedge at the sides.  Gathered at the back from the yoke.  All cotton with porcelain / milk glass buttons, one mismatched. 
 
 
Overstitched repairs at the collar and upper back. There are some patched repairs on the inside of the cuffs which show some light edge wear also. Some thinner areas, a few small fray nicks.  Faded here and there with areas of uneven colour.
Note that there are grey (paint?) marks at the yoke, upper back and both sleeves- up and down- see photos.  Some marks inside at the nape anda  few scattered small rust type spots.
 
 
Seam to seam across the shoulders at the back is 17"
Sleeves are 24"  from shoulder seam to where the cuff turns back
From nape to hem is 41 1/4" 
Across the chest under the arms is 22" -  pit to pit, flat, across the front
Collar is 15 1/4" when buttoned.
