Vintage circa 1940s Swiss "salt & pepper" cotton drill workwear over trousers. 

Swiss made, all cotton, no size label.

Blue and white speckled drill cotton. Button fly, deep pocket at one side, seat pocket, open side access slits. V back with brass buckled cinch belt. Metal buttons at the fly and around the waistband. Numbered metal badge at the upper front (not removeable). Slits at the lower legs and adjustable hem width.  See photos. 
 
 
Note that there is some staining on the leg- see photo. Some light fraying at the hem edge on one leg.  Some surface marks, light fading and areas of uneven colour, general wear. A few small fray nicks. The buttons show light patina.

Measured at 36" in total at the waist - they can be cinched in a couple of inches using the cinch belt

Across at approx "hip" level (these are originally men's over trousers) is 20"
but NOTE that there are open side slits each side
