Vintage circa 1930s British linen gent's jacket.
Most likely tailored overseas for British ex-pats serving or working overseas in warmer climates.
Made from a pale peachy beige linen with lightly padded shoulders and three buttons to fasten. Patch pockets and chest pocket. Lined in the sleeves and upper back
Good vintage order considering the age of it. Some rust type type brown marks inside the collar and on the underside. A few minor marks on the topside here and there. Small fray hole on the underside of the front edge. The kapok shoulder pads which are tucked inside the lining at the upper back show some wear. The interfacing which is hidden inside the front edges appear to have horsehide in the fabric's blend so there is a little shedding of this here and there.
